Quixtar is the new AMWAY don't bother it's a piramid scheme. You will work your butt of trying to convince people to join up and 99% of the time you are going to get a resounding no. Those whom do join will exit quickly. Don't waste your time with this. Start your own business based on your hobbies and what you are passionate about. Good luck.

Well, first off, its not get-rich-quick.

Instead of looking on the bathroom wall (the internet) for suggestions, try looking at credible information. You wouldn’t call a number off the bathroom wall for a date. The internet is a place where literally anyone can post, no matter what their credibility.

A couple good web sources are

http://thisbiznow.com
http://www.socialsecurity.gov (For statistical information you might want to check)

Don't take advice from people that aren't where you want to be. I'm not saying this is the right business for you by any means. Take everything with a degree of skepticism, but keep an open mind. Be skeptical about the business, and be skeptical what your friends might say.

If your friends works 50 hours a week and their retirement plan looks like something out of a child's imagination (otherwise called social security) chances are they might not be very credible.

There are several large quixtar organizations, some are very different. One might be for you, the other may not be.

If you want to look into a business, talk to business people. If you wanted to play great golf you wouldn't ask George Bush, you'd ask Tiger Woods.

Make sense?

Some people are very successful at this, some aren’t. Many join, and never put any effort in.
Some people screw stuff up, get discouraged, and quit.

If you do not have AMBITION and a drive to do something more, save your money and save your time.

You might want to to check out http://www.thetruthaboutquixtar.com for some real facts and analysis about Quixtar.

It's not a scam, it's a part of Alticor, the 25th largest private company in the United States. Quixtar IBOs (independent business owners) market, anongst other things, Nutrilite, the world's best selling nutritional supplements, Artistry, one of the top 5 "prestige" brands of cosmetics in the world, XS Energy Drinks, one of the best selling energy drinks, and many many other products. There's somewhere around a 800,000 people registered with Quixtar in the United States, and while the great majority of them never do any work to try and develop a profitable business, in 2005 alone over 370,000 IBOs received cash payments from Quixtar for generating business. Globally, over 4000 people have created businesses which generate them incomes of more than $150,000/yr.

Quixtar is not a pyramid scheme because those are illegal. I do know someone who works with that company and she said she does well. Just keep in mind, if you start your own business with a company, you do have to do some work in the beginning, just like any business. I just joined a company and they tell you stay with it for a year, then decide. I have seen it though, the people average about 3 years before they really make money. Good luck!

Not a scam but not as easy as your sponsors would like for you to believe. I was in it ... made $3.00 in the entire process.
