I would be that rancid old orange with the horrible smelly cloves sticking out all over it. It's always the last decoration out of the box and it only gets put on the tree as little Tommy or Jane made it when they were five. That must of been around thirty one years ago. Nobody ooohhhs and aaahhhs about it as it's always stuck at the back of the tree.

If I WERE a christmas decoration, I would either be the fairy or angel on top of the tree like you, or tinsel. Its so shiny and pretty, and yet people get so frustrated, and strangle themselves with it trying to put it on the tree

Bells. Purple bells, gold bells, silver ones , green ones, red bells , blue bells - all the colours of Christmas . Bells of many colours on a tree look very pretty , and bells to me symbolise the ring-ing of hope and good-will to mankind.Bells too , even as decorations are reminders that bells can produce beautiful music.

The Fairy,not necessary on the top of the tree,that maybe a bit prickly, but it would be nice to wave a magic wand and give every one their wishes.

I'd be the lights on the tree cos I love to flash! Or maybe the chocolate decorations because I'm irresistible! lol (God I re-read that and it sounds corny but hey-ho or should I say ho ho?!!).

I'd be a big red bauble with a gold pattern. Those were always my favourite as a child.
