Guided by a Christian fundamentalist ideological agenda, the administration is promoting and forcing deadly abstinence-only HIV prevention and sex education programs instead of proven comprehensive programs that comprise consistent and correct use of condoms.

The Bush administration has re-instated the “gag-rule” policy which restricts foreign organizations that receive US funds from using their own, non-U.S., funds to provide legal abortion services or even provide accurate medical counseling or referrals regarding abortion. The Bush administration and its political operatives have distorted sound science and attempted to suppress medical research studies in HIV prevention when it conflicts with the ideology of the Christian Right.

Count 4: Restriction of Generics--
The Bush administration has used its political and economic power to coerce other countries into agreements that severely restrict the manufacture and supply of generic drugs, the only affordable option for most HIV positive people in the Third World.

Count 1: Knowing failure of the Bush administration to adequately maintain and upgrade the levees directly contributed to the foreseeable loss of life and suffering of many people when Hurricane Katrina struck.

Count 2: Despite foreknowledge of Hurricane Katrina striking land as a greater than category 3 storm and the devastation that this would cause, the Bush administration failed to implement an emergency evacuation plan for people who were in the path of the storm and unable to evacuate the area on their own.

The indictments and impeachments listed by "periac" and "notme" above, look pretty scary. That is why the Military Commissions Act of 2006 and the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 provide immunity for President Bush and his cohorts for any crimes they may have committed against alleged terrorists.

So, it doesn't matter how many laws he has broken or that he has done away with the US Constitution, habeas corpus, the bill of rights, and the geneva convention, he can't be prosecuted.

Parts of the Patriot Act make it illegal for journalists to criticize bush's regime.On top of that he's set up a system where the definition of the word terror ist is so vague that anyone can be called one simply for saying they don't like the way he runs things,then it's off to guantanamo bay where you can be held INDEFINITELY,WITHOUT CHARGE,being tortured the whole time(LEGALLY, since G-mo isn't technically american soil and our laws don't apply there).Plus,With freedom of speech and freedom of the press gone bushie has been trying to extend the power of the presidency to being higher than the other two branches claiming that is what the founding fathers intended,nice try bush-bush but if the founding fathers wanted to have all their civil liberties stripped away and serve a tyrannical,despotic ,leader with absolute power they would never have rebelled against the king of england and started the u.s.. If you read the constitution there is a part called the declaration of independence that explains why they rebelled and formed our system of government,i think every american should read, i believe it says something like: when in the course of human events ,it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the seperate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's god entitle them,a decent respect to the opinions of mankindrequires that they shoulddeclare the causeswhich impel them to the seperation.We hold these truths to be self-evident,that all men are created equal,endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights that among these are life,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.That to secure these rights governments are instituted among men ,deriving their just powers from the CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED .That whenever ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT becomes destructive of these ends,it is the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR ABOLISH IT,and to institute new government which shall seem most likely to give them happiness.it goes on to list what their b'itch with the king of england was and some of these things are like revolutionary-age pre-cursors to what bush is doing now.But his policies almost mirror the actions of hitler just before he assumed complete power over germany. Look this **** up, the only weapon we have against the enemy is our knowledge.
