You have had luck like mine. I have a dog now that I have had a year. I beleive that you are like me and that God gave us these animals to care for the short time they had with us. Don't you beleive that it is best to love a short time than to die alone? I beleive you are a good person and chosen to help the needy animals.

Are the deaths your fault in any way? Could you have prevented the dog drowning by keeping a better eye on it? Why did your cat die? Why did your pitbull get taken away? Why did your hamster die? If these animals died or were taken away due to something that YOU could have prevented then I would say that you shouldn't get another pet. Were they sick and you didn't get them medical attention? Did you neglect them and they starved to death?

If not, then I don't see why you shouldn't get another pet. Losing animals is the toughest part of animal ownership.

Maybe you should get a fish. You know, one like that pretty rainbow fish, or a goldfish. That won't drown, or get tooken away. And another thing, I'm so sorry about ur loss of animals.I just lost my dog a few months ago after he got a dog, border collie mix, pregnant with five puppies. They all got worms but only one survived. Now I love him more than anything in the world. So, just remember to take care of your animals every minute of everyday, they're the closest thing to family.

You may simply be having bad luck, or you aren't ready to care for an animal. Don't get any more until you are able to know what makes a responsible owner, how to find a responsible breeder, and what caring for them entails. You need to have $1000 ready at all times in case of illness or emergency and put your animal's well being at the front of your mind.

Dogs don't just drown. Pit Bulls don't just get taken away. Something else went on that you haven't said and it leads me to believe that you just aren't suited to caring for an animal right now. Perhaps this will change in the future, when you are able to be more educated about the responsibilities of taking an animal into your care for life.

Good luck to you.

well i know from having over 30 pets eveything from dogs and cats to snakes and horses that some people just dont have the abblity to take care of an animal, they need a lot of attention and love, they r like people if u dont pay any attention to them they run away or die. if u really want a pet try something easy like a fish at first just to c if u can handle it then move on if it lives
