I absolutely love it. It definitely takes a little time to learn to apply it right, but my skin has never looked better. If you want fuller coverage, try using their kabuki brush or the synthetic full-coverage brush. They apply a little more and you'll get the coverage you want.

I have been using it for about 3 months and LOVE how my skin looks. I mix my own colors using minerals from
www.mineralbasics.com it is much cheaper for a larger amount though I do recommend getting the Bare Minerals Reverupper lotion. It goes on well and you don't feel like you are wearing make up. It covers my discolorations and everything well and looks natural. You can layer it on and on and it doesn't look like paste after 8 hours like liquid foundations with powder do. My skin is also the healthiest it's ever been and I know part of it is due to the mineral makeup. Just an FYI Lancome has alot of oxides and oils in their makeup. Generally their formulas are better suited for mature skin, say 50+
So I would say you can start with the Intro Kit available at Sephora for $60. You get the vitamin cream I was talking about and the brushes! With this make-up you need the right brushes. But check out that website I mentioned for other items and you might want to try your hand at mixing your own mineral foundation to get the perfect color and they have the best deal for the largest amount!

I have been using Bare Minerals since July 2006. I absolutely love it. It is so light and comfortable. I don't think I will every go back to liquid foundation. I don't usually need to reapply through the day. It is expensive but worth every penny. A good idea would be to get the starter kit, just to see if you like it. www.bareminerals.com has all the information you will need. It is a great product. In fact I just bought some for my sister who has very sensitive skin and she says it is the first makeup that she has used that she has not had a reaction to in some form or another. I definately reccomend it.

I just started using it a few months ago and I must say that I love it. First of all, it is very easy to use. And, I like being able to use the same container of powder for both concealer and foundation. It does cover well and it is very light feeling. The only thing I would caution is if you have very dry skin you may want to test it out at a store (like Sephora) first. I think that it may not work well on very dry skin since it is all in powder form. But I have very sensitive somewhat oily skin and it works great for me. I also love the brushes, they are a very good quality. I purchased the brush cleaner (which was extra and a later purchase) and have been very pleased with that as well.
I ordered the starter kit through the website and had a problem with my first order (not the order itself, just the color I had chosen). I called the 800 number and the rep was very helpful and sent me out a new shipment of the better shade for me. I was not charged for this shipment at all! I was impressed by that service. I get the product auto-shipped to my house which is great. I never even have to worry about running out.
Bottom line...I love it!

I've been using it about 4 months now and I love it. I paid for the initial package of foundation (2 jars) and I'm still using them. It's pricey at first, but I find it goes a good way. It does take a while to get used to it and applying it right. I find it covers very well. It does wear off after a little while, but I have a compact I got with my online order and do touch ups once a day when I'm at work. When I'm finished with my 2 jars, I'm definately buying more.

I've been using bare minerals for about a year and i really like it. It takes a little practice to apply it right. Trust me, a little goes a long way. Its kind of expensive, but one jar of foundation has lasted me about eight months. It doesn't fade like other brands and gives a very natural, but well covered look. I have heard of some people having bad reactions to it and breaking out though, so be careful.

I don't use Bare Minerals, I have used GloMinerals, but honestly, I didn't notice a darn bit of difference between that and regular makeup. Unless you have sensitive skin that requires that kind of makeup or you're undergoing chemical peels, I feel like mineral makeup is unnecessary. Just claims of "purity" that feed off of the American public's unfounded sense of paranoia. If a certain makeup item works for you, stick with it! These "mineral base" claims are fine and good, but for most of us, does that really matter?

Like I told someone else, it's fine if you don't have dry patches because they will show. Also, if I don't wear moisturizer, it makes my face feel too dry. I use Lancome and I love their foundations. Renergie Lift is an excellent foudation and doesn't settle into lines or pores.

I hate-hate-hate Bare Minerals! It doesn't cover @ all! I'm in my mid 20's & my mom is in her mid 40's & we both love Loreal's Bare Naturale which is only ($12) @ Walmart's/Target's/Walgreens, etc. I'll never wear anything else again!
