Pants or Skirts? I'm in a competition that requires me to dress professionally and not like a bum

a nice nave blazer and pants with a blouse and a nice scarf. I hate panty hose that way you don't need the pantie hose for your shoes with pants

Pants. Unless it's a sleazy competition. In that case go for the shortest skirt.
