RE:
Raspberry Leaf tea to help induce labor???
So I've read everyone saying that raspberry leaf tea will help naturally induce labor...
The only thing I could find was, Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger tea, Will it work? And how much of it should I drink?!?!

I have heard about it, but can't remember exactly what. LOL!!! Sorry! But I think you might need to try an herbal store....not just regular teas off the grocery shelf.
Here...researched...off babycenter.com:
Which teas are not safe?
Many of the herbs used for teas, when taken in large or medicinal amounts, can potentially stimulate the uterus and induce miscarriage. These include anise, catnip, chamomile, comfrey, ephedra (called ma huang in traditional Chinese medicine), European mistletoe, hibiscus, horehound, Labrador, lemongrass, licorice root, mugwort, pennyroyal, raspberry leaf, rosemary, sage, sassafras, stinging nettle leaf, vetiver, and yarrow.
Although some midwives use raspberry leaf (also known as red raspberry leaf) to aid delivery, its effectiveness hasn't been proven. In any case, it should be used only near term and under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Avoid the rest of the herbs in this list during pregnancy and lactation.
Note: You can still eat food that contains herbs like rosemary and sage, because the amounts used in food are generally much smaller than those used in tea — and not as potent (the brewing process for making tea concentrates the chemicals of the herbs).

Organic Raspberry Leaf Tea is good for toning the uterus throughout pregnancy, not raspberry zinger. It won't induce labor. My last one was 10 days late and I learned that you just have to relax and think good thoughts.
Good luck!

I read rasberry tea is good for morning sickness, so I've been drinking it ever since. It seems to help. I haven't heard about it inducing labor. The other links on her said that sex is a great way to start labor. You might want to check those out.

OK pull out your faithful copy of what to expect when your expecting read the section on things to avoid eating and drinking during pregnancy. you shouldnt be trying to induce labor at all, your baby will come when its ready. Raspberry leaf tea can cause premature labor and miscarriage. if you want to help speed up when labor will arrive walk and exercise some. that really helped me when i was overdue. also my OB stripped my membranes and i went into labor the next day. You can also request that your doctor induce your labor with pitocin or other hormones. GOod luck and congrats!
