Please compare and contrast the Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty economically?

The main difference between the two empires are that the Han was original and always a central empire system, while the Roman started from a kind of democracy reaching other times to empires, others to different systems.
What does this contribute into the differences? Well, the Roman Emperor frequently, if not always, needed the support of the rich people comprising the leadership, while in the East empire the rich and strong were always either loyal to the emperor or .... dead, without any property!
