Icky! If you have this many numbers and think it would be faster, type up all of the numbers in a word document, hitting enter after each. So 309 enter 446 enter and so on, then go to the toolbar (at the top of the screen) and click on table. On the menu select "sort" and select ascending order. The number that it exactly in the middle of all the numbers is the median. Since you have an even amount of numbers you are going to end up with two sets of numbers being in the middle. So add those two middle numbers together and divide by two. If you can't get it to work on your computer you'll have to put them in ascending order by hand and do the same thing. I hope that helps! Good luck!

The median is the number that is in the center of your data set. He needs to put all the numbers in order, from largest to smallest. From both the high and low ends, count the same number in. In other words, if you had:

2 5 8 9 14

Start at 2 and cross off 2 and 5. Then start at 14 (the high end) and cross off 14 and 9. You're left with 8, so that's the median.

If you end up with two medians (i.e., you have an even number of numbers and get two that split the middle), add those two numbers together and divide by two for the median.

Hope this helps you.
