It's like it explains so much about me. It's like me telling them I'm from NY or something. I know I can be bossy and opinionated, but so can other people. What gives?

Being a Leo woman myself, I can truly say "I am Marvelous Worship Me". You have to balance the bossy and opinionated with the magnanimous and the giving. Los can be very giving, but being bossy and opinionated are two of our negative traits. I always think of being a Leo as Noblesse Oblige or nobility means obligation. A good Queen always takes the well beings of her subjects into account before her own. Be known for your largesse rather than your opinions. Blessings from another Empress.

It's because Leo's are THE bossy and arrogant sign. Yes other people are also bossy and or arrogant...but did you ever stop to think that maybe some of those people are Leo's as well?
Every sign has it's draw backs....people that say ooohhh have probably had some experience with leos, whether it be good or bad....
I grew up in an ENTIRE family of Leos, and let me tell you it was good and bad, but definitely exciting.
Leos are a very exciting bunch to be around...always something going on, adventure, drama, and etc.
So don't take it offensively when someone says "oohh"...take it in a positive way--because your sign is a very powerful sign, and definitely considered "king" of the zodiac.

All of the signs have good and bad attributes (orphanannie!) so just because someone says oooooooohhhhhh doesn't mean it's because of a bad attribute. They are likely remembering an experience with a Leo and wondering if you are the same as that person. Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. Besides being bossy and opinionated, Leo's are also generous, flamboyant and often the life of the party!

Should they say "Not one of them!" ? The response ohhhh? is quite common and normal. Just being a Leo, doesn't make you (or them), bossy or anything. When they respond with something like "Ohhh ?" 99% of the time it's being said like a surprise manner.
What is your response about me be a Scorpio? The neighbors who moved in 18 years ago, He's a scorpio, thier youngest daughter was a scorpio, When told when his birthday was I said " Oh, really, mine is the same date." We try to make an effort to wish each other a Happy Birthday.
So nothing gives, it's normal.

Leos are known for being bossy and opinionated, like you, and also tempermental. My borther's a Leo, and I always say Oooohhhh when someone says Leo. Most horoscope signs have traits that are attributable to them, but there are also many other things to take into consideration. Virgoes are known for being picky and neat and organized, Scorpios are the worst, mean and nasty. Sooner or later they sting. I say Oooh for them too.

Don't sweat it. Leo's are said to be bossy or mean because lions are said to be mean. It's a stereotype thing. You and the lions are not mean. Leo's and lions are really smart and active.

my bf AND my daughter are BOTH leo's. I DEFINATELY say Oooooooooooh, when I hear someone's a leo. it explains soooooooooooooooo much. lol frig, how am i ever spose to have the spotlight w/ these two in my life?
