Requested info from medical insurance company 3 weeks ago just received it today, but it is not what we need to prove our case in court. The insurance company has what we need, but are saying we have to submit another request, (which I did by fax today) and asked for everything to be returned by fax as quickly as possible because we need it for legal purposes). We only have 1 week before we are suspose to appear in court, but I am afraid we might not have the necessary documents to prove our case because it took so long to receive what we asked for earlier. We already had to reschedule the date once because of the delay, can we request another delay, or will it make us look bad? I just dont want to go there and not have the proof we need to prove our case. Thanks for your help.

State is NY. No lawyer. Court appearance town is 4 hours from here. Can we request the delay in writing as we did before?

You do have a lawyer right? Because he is the guy that knows how to do these things..... I'm not a professional or anything but I think that you should be able to reschedule.

Go to court and request appearance to be rescheduled. I do not think with a reasonable explanation will be rejected
