Your mother should kick her the f*** out who the f*** does that woman think she is, i understand that she is trying to be a good friend but noone should be able to make you feel uncomfortable in your own home. Her friend is probably jealous that she has a man and if your mom doesn't watch out the next thing you know she'll be f****** him, or she might be mad cause she wants to sleep with your mom.

Kick that B***** out!!!!!!!

She is clearly taking advantage of the situation and might even be jealous of your mom's happiness. I think the best thing would be to let her know that you feel that the time has come for her to get her own place. Be reasonable and give her 4 weeks to move out, maybe you could even go flat-hunting with her. Remember she is probably very lonely and is only hurting your mom because SHE is hurting. It doesn't sound as if her own family is interested in what happens to her...?
My friend would say: Hit her with the love!

Your mom may have to say bye to her friend. There may still be a chance to save the friendship if the friend realizes she just stepped over a boundary. Understand, she's scared to death she's about to be put of in the cold. If they can't work it out give the friend 30 days to find a new roost. Be careful though, if the friend has helped with food or bills then a court might still consider her a renter. If that's the case, she may some rights as to how soon you can make her move. If it turns bad, you may want to call an attorney for advice about renter's rights.

Have your mom sit her down and explain to her the living conditions. If she doesn't change, then it's time for her to look for an apartment or somewhere else to live. Give her exactly 2 weeks to do so otherwise it can turn into months. Your mom was nice enough to have her move in under certain rules. Have your mom repeat those rules and conditions...if not, she must go.

It's your mothers house therefore she needs to quickly get this woman out of her house.
She should have felt blessed to live under a roof without having to pay rent. I know most people would kill for that. And, she couldn't have the decency to respect you all, since it's not her home? Well, then she doesn't deserve to live there.
Talk to your mom about how you're feeling and the two of you need to work on getting her out of the house. No one should be uncomfortable in their own home.

Since this woman has been there for awhile your mom has to do it legally... she needs to issue a 30 day notice to her friend and tell her its time. The last thing your mom needs now is someone living in her own home making her feel uncomfortable.

It's her own problem if she has nowhere to go. She's a grown woman, she can manage on her own. She should never be allowed to stay in the home treating your mother this way when it's her own house.
