I have lived in Vegas my whole life, I would recommend as others, Ceasers, TI, Paris in that order. They are all center "Strip". Don't stay downtown, it's old and scary at night (and sometimes during the day). Ceasers also has quite a few clubs. All of the major resorts have a least one night club and they are all close to each other. The only decent casinos that are off the Strip are the Rio, Hard Rock and Palms. If you get a chance catch a cab to the Palms, (it's about .75 miles west of the Strip on Flamingo) They have a couple of cool places and really great sushi at Little Buddha. It's a younger crowd as well. So is the Hard Rock if that's what your looking for. Anyway, have fun in Vegas. www.Vegas.com

I go at least 3 times a year. I either stay at the Mirage or Ceasar's. Mirage has a great pool, a great club called "Jet" and is next to Ceasar, which has the Ceasar's Forum shopping. If you stay at the Mirage and go to Jet, you can ask the concierge to put you on the guest list so you do not have to pay to get in. Ceasar's also has a Club called "Pure", which is pretty good too. Pool area is nice but not as good as the Mirage. Both hotels are close to Treasure Island that also has "Tangerine" which is another club to check out. Hope this helps.

Just pick a nice one in the middle of the strip, like the Flamingo, well priced, but top notch. Look for vacation packages on expedia . com, there are sooooo many. Pick at least a 4-star hotel, they are worth it.
I don't bother staying at the really expensive hotels, cause you'll probably be out of the room, walking around, looking at all the other fantastic hotels! The Flamingo is in the exact center, and across the street from the Caesars and Bellagio and Mirage. You can't go wrong, for the money, that's the best place.
Now if you got the money, you can stay anywhere. If I did, I'd recommend Caesar's Palace.
Really, anywhere 4 star and up is going to be excellent. Indeed, there's probably a dozen 5 star hotels, and you are totally welcome to go in ALL of them (except for their pool areas), to visit, shop, look around, and hopefully, drop a few grand at THEIR casino.

Aladdin. My hubby and I stayed for our honeymoon. Pretty central, and great staff. Anywhere you stay you can take the bus. An all day pass for $6 or so, and they run every 15 minutes. Caesar and Bellagio are within walking distance, and they have some great shops. The Fashion Show Mall is just a ride away.

Ok, first off avoid the guy that said the Union Plaza unless you enjoy hookers, drug dealers, and having the ghetto right outside your door. Hn, you want clubs, shopping, and all that close to your hotel/casino. Your best bet is Ceasar's Palace. Plenty of clubs, shows, and shopping too. Check out the Emperial Shops, located in Ceasar's Palace itself. Plenty of great activities.

it really doesnt matter as long as your on the strip .There are taxis everywhere you shouldnt have a problem .If your on a budget try the smaller hotels if it doesnt matter i probably would say ceasars because you have the forum shops and the club pure within walking distance everything else is just a little to far it doesnt seem like its far but it really is

I always suggest MGM Grand. It is located on the strip - not mid-strip- but it has the monorail stopping directly there. They have an enormous pool area and a lazy river as well. It is located directly across the street from NYNY and is a short walking distance to Luxor.
