Kathy Bates was greatYes saw the film and read the book. of course the book was much better but books always are.they carry so much more detail. Must admit the book made me feel scared and dreaded reading the next line but was totally compulsive reading,I love Stephen King he scares me to death.

Haven't read it but watched the movie a long time ago now! Was brilliant but quite gory but it's Stephen King so it's bound to be! It was an 18 cert then but I bet it's a 15 now so make sure you're old enough if you want to watch it. Apologies if you are.

Stephen King is possibly the final author ever for stepping into his reader's heads. J.ok. Rowling is physically powerful at this too. I examine the e book diverse Seasons, and that i had a frustrating time drowsing for the entire week that i replaced into analyzing it. the eco-friendly Mile replaced into recommendations-blowing. I in basic terms comprehensive On Writing. great comments for absolutely everyone who desires to be a author. in my view i think of there is not any longer a greater efficient author, yet i won't be able to verify his stuff lots via fact it messes with my head. take excitement in!!

Sure was! The movie wasn't as good as the book, but you often hear that. The book was really interesting. You might also like Gerald's Game by Stephen King.

The book is great. It had very good description of the psycho lady's obsession with cleaniless, the work put in to writing and the excruciating pain of being physically/physcologically tortured and healed. Stephen King wrote it after he had been in a really bad car accident and a fan helped him.

yes the book was made into a movie starring Kathy Bates and James Caan. The book was very good and the movie was suprisingly, very true to the book. If you havent read the book or seen the movie, I would recommend both.

Yes, the book's great- oddly short for Stephen King. The film isn't perfect but it is one of the best film adaptations of a King novel- the rest of which seem strangely blighted with mediocrity.

Yes, I read Misery, I thought the book was better than the movie, but then books usually are, for me, anyway.
Here's the synopsis, for those that haven't seen it/read it:
Novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) crashes his car on a snowy Colorado road. He is found by Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), the "number one fan" of Paul's heroine Misery Chastaine. Annie is also somewhat unstable, and Paul finds himself crippled, drugged and at her mercy.

The book is AWESOME!! The movie really doesn't do it justice but if you want to watch a fairly decent movie, its worth watching. The book is one of my all time favorites of Stephen King, that one and The Stand. The first book I read from SK was "IT" and it was okay but I didn't like clowns to begin with.
When you read it let me know if you liked it, td_ritt@yahoo.com
