For me I figure...if I can do it myself...there's no point in waiting around for my hubby to do it for me. There are things that I would rather have my husband do and these are things I usually have no clue about but on most things I take the initiative.

Im self reliant although I dont really think about it as it's just part of my personality. Being self reliant is healthy as long as you respect your partner and the relationship. My husband and I are equally self efficient although we rely on each other for love and support

I'm "self-reliant", but it's not someting I "think" about, it's something I practice. I choose to cultivate companionship and close relationships in my life - but, if push comes to shove, I know that I can get by without anyone. However, I hope it'll never come to that.
I certainly could live quite happily without a husband... But it's more fun having one.

when i'm going about my daily stuff i generally try not to think about the hubby the kids the house it stops me from being productive.
