I do not have a lovely, sweet Golden Ret. or a cute, cuddly Pomeranian - but I am a responsible pet owner. My dog does not like other dogs \ so he doesn't interact with them. My dog will chase cats \ so I don't have one. He doesn't like to come back when allowed to run free \ so he doesn't run free. He doesn't chew, relieve himself indoors or bark for no reason - does anyone have a small house with rent 600 - 900 a month that won't charge me a ridiculous amount for pet insurance or pet deposit? Boarding fees are killing me while we look for home but will not give up on dog.

Did I say he was dangerous? Smart ***. And he'd rather be homeless than be something he isn't - especially a POM!!!

You should buy a house, and take your own risk with homeowners insurance. Anybody being a landlord needs to check with their homeowners insurance and see what happens when a dog on your property bites someone. After finding out what dogs ARE NOT COVERED, decide who to rent to and who not to rent to.

I doubt anyone would rent anything to a pit bull. Perhaps you should try to tame your aggressive personality, and try again.

Oh, and good luck on getting a place for a dangerous dog. Just tell them it's a Pomeranian.
