Tony Blair is actually pretty smart. I've watched him hold his own in a Q and A with Parliment. I know for a fact that if Bush ever had to hold a similar Q and A with Congress he'd end up running away crying with his tail inbetween his legs
btw--I'm an American

Blair is a smart guy - Bush is a complete idiot. I have no idea what their IQ's are though....
A lot of Bush supporters like to point to a couple articles/books claiming that Bush has an IQ of about 125.... but what they fail to realize is that this is NOT based on an actual IQ test, but is based on his score on the Air Force Officer's Exam. The fact that Bush got into Harvard and Yale doesn't say much considering the fact that he was the CIA director's son (Ivy League schools love to admit the children of the powerfull).... The fact is - we don't know what Bush's IQ is because he's never released the results of an IQ test. If I had to guess, I'd put him at around 110 to 120.... which is fairly unimpressive for the leader of the most powerfull military and economy in the world. As for Blair's IQ - judging from his public speaking skills and his argument skills I would say he's got an IQ no less than 130. Still just a guess though....

It's interesting that all these people come here to bash Mr. Bush's intelligence when many fail to realize that our President is actually a very smart man with an IQ about two standard deviations from the norm (so, 125-130, there have been articles that claim upwards to 140 too, compared to the average: 100) The man didn't get into Yale for nothing. A fact that many fail to realize that many who meet with the man personally is that he is quite clever and well spoken and that most 'Bushisms' come from a setting he has never been comfortable with, which is public speaking. He will read the dialogue prepared for him but mix them together.
Unfortunately I do not know much about the British Prime Minister (British or English... I've heard it used alternately) so I can't rightfully compare him to our President. Though, I'd say it would be slightly above from the quality of education in Britian alone.

I think Tony Blair has been a good Prime Minister so far. He has allowed himself to be led by George Bush in some things because he knows he has to keep on the right side of a man like Bush. However, I think that when the chips are down Tony Blair is his owb man & makes his own decisions & is not a man to be swayed by anyone. The Scottish part of him will win through with determination & guts every time. Not a man to be messed with.

they seem to be two peas in a pod, but Blair is much smarter.
I've read some things on Bush's IQ and if I were to guess I'd say 120....Blair 140...I'm a Democrat, just left of center, but I'm being honest...I've heard much lower for Bush...I base this on his actions, speeches and lack of his own writings, stubbornness in the face of facts.

No point in that. As the people, so the leader. I saw Mrs. Thatcher in a session at Parliament on tape years ago. I kind of admired her. They sure don't call her The Iron Lady for nothing! The present times are not fair to foist on two faces. They have a host of accomplices called the public and a political machine. It's led me to be apolitical on their performance alone.

I think that Tony Blairs IQ is better than our president. Georgie is an idiot. ( I didn't vote for him, I was Al Gore all the way-I'm a blue dog democrat.)

Since our president is Blair's little marionette doing what ever Blair asks of him. I guess I would say Blair's is considerable higher but not as high as Gary Adams.
