MORE THAN LIKLEY YOU WOULD BLEED AND CRAMP IF YOU WERE HAVING A MISCARRIAGE. YOU SHOULD GET A BLOOD TEST TO BE SURE. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL IF YOU ARE PREGGERS AND WHAT THE LEVELS ARE LIKE IF THERE NORMAL. THEY WILL MAYBE HAVE YOU COME BACK ABOUT TWO-THREE DAYS LATER TO SEE IF YOUR LEVELS ARE RISING OR NOT. IF THEY ARE ON THE RISE IT IS A GOOD SIGN.

I'm really sorry, because I think I'm the one who caused this question. Please don't worry about early miscarriage. If you have a miscarriage this early, you will have bleeding like a normal period and probably no more pain than the cramps associated with a normal period. Just, one of the explanations given for why you may have a so-called "false positive" is if you were pregnant for a short while but had an early miscarriage or if the egg was fertilized, but just didn't take. There are other rare conditions that also cause false positives. The MOST likely scenario is that the test you used is more sensitive than the test the center used. Also, you probably used the home test according to the directions with first morning urine (which has higher concentrations of Hcg) while the center test was done with mid-day urine which can have lower concentrations because you have recently drank liquids or gone to the bathroom, thereby diluting your Hcg concentration. Please don't let my earlier comment get you worried. You will know if you have a miscarriage because you will get your period. If I were you, I would test again with a sensitive test with first morning urine, and if it comes back positive, congratulate yourself on your pregnancy and make yourself a prenatal appointment.

I am not a doctor, but I have experienced trying to conceive. If you want to email me about all this, you can click on my avatar and send me an email from my Yahoo!Answers page.

Again, I am really sorry if I have gotten you worried. Please try not to be concerned, there is probably no reason for it.

Hi Candi,
How far along do you think you were? You will usually know you have miscarried. Cramping and bleeding are associated with miscarriage, even in an early preganancy this will be present. I would definitely have a blood test called a beta HCG Quant. done to determine hormone levels and see if it would be consistent with the time frame in which you think you may have become pregnant. Also, sometimes complications may occur if the miscarriage was incomplete. SEE A DOCTOR ASAP to make sure. Good luck.

Miscarriage is usually your body's way of getting rid of a baby that would not survive due to some sort of problem with your body or the baby. It is what is supposed to happen. Honestly, chances are that you already HAVE miscarried before because it usually happens so early that you don't even realize you are pregnant. The most important things to do to avoid that involve being healthy BEFORE you conceive and continuing those good habits during pregnancy. A folic acid supplement is important to prevent problems with the baby's development. Taking a prenatal vitamin even before you get pregnant is a good idea, but it's very important now that you know you're pregnant. Eat healthy, get regular exercise, and try not to let your worries stress you out so much. Positive thinking is a powerful thing. And just listen to your body. If you are tired, rest. If you are hungry, eat. The basics, you know? Now is a time for celebration! Congratulations and good luck!

Most Miscarriages you do have bleeding and cramping.I've had two myself. The first I was 16 weeks along and had a Ultrasound and the baby had already passed. My second I was 10 weeks along and went to the restroom at work and I was bleeding like I had my period. So every woman and her body is different.I do agree that you should have a serum blood test done for pregnancy. This will show your HCG level and if you are pregnant.

If you have a miscarriage you would feel some cramping and the baby would come out in the toilet. It would look like a blood cloth, depending on how far along you are.

If you did not have any bleeding and no cramping it's obvious that you was never pregnant. Get a doctors opinion to see what he/she says... Good Luck to you....

You would more than likely have cramping and bleeding, similiar to that of a heavy period. If you haven't suffered any of these symptoms, I really would worry. If you continue getting negetive tests, see a doctor. Also, if you did have a miscarraige without bleeding you need to see your doctor immediately as it is vital for your health. Please watch for fever, chills, and achiness, if you experience any of these please see an physician immediately as it is a sign of infection. Try not to worry, without the other signs, you are more than likely okay.

Most likely you would bleed and there could be some discomfort. However, my sister-in-law had what they called an incomplete miscarriage where she didn't bleed at all. Please see a doctor if you're concerned. Your health could be at stake.
