This should be an interesting game. I really don't see Louisville is being THAT much better than West Virginia.

As far as I'm concerned they each has played a VERY suspect out of conference schedule.

Let's look at the teams that each has played so far. West Virginia has beaten (Marshall, Eastern Washington, Maryland, East Carolina, Mississippi State, Syracuse and UConn)...not exactly the toughest schedule...the Mountaineers in the future need to do a better job with scheduling teams out of conference. Louisville has knocked off in succession (Kentucky, Temple, Miami-FLA, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee, Cincinnati and Syracuse)....a few years ago I would have given Louisville kudos for wins over Miami-FLA and Kansas State, but these programs are WAY DOWN this year. So maybe Louisville had a slight edge of playing better competition, but not really when you really look inside the numbers. Louisville could beef up theirs as well.

This game will be a close one, with West Virginia pulling out a 33-30 win!!

Finally this year we get to see West Virginia play a game against a team ranked in the top 25 , Finally a true test , I think they will lose by at least 2 touchdowns , they have not played a team like Louisville yet they will lose .

I want Louisville to win, but because of a couple of guys being suspended for that game and because of Bush being hurt, I think WVU has a good chance of winning a tight game. WVU 24, UL 23.

don't think so. hope not at least. wvu is far overrated. the only thing they have is a running game. put 8 men in the box and force white stand in the pocket and throw the ball.

It is really hard to pick between two very average and overrated teams such as these two. I'd say go with the home team when average and mediocre are involved.
