It happens a lot. On the easy questions a lot of people think the same way & also respond like each other, sometimes verbatim.
Most of them aren't scrolling & reading other responders answers either, they're just typing it out fast & pushing submit.
What I really like are the questions that end up with a lot of variety in answers. Those are not only fun to participate in, but they're fun to read, especially when you click on 'discover' & peruse that section.

Most people (including myself) are just trying to give someone an answer to thier question based on whatever they feel or believe..it doesn't really matter what someone has already wrote..most people don't even check to see what others have wrote until after they have given thier answer, so why worry if you have the same answer as someone else. It just means those people have the same answer to the question; especially the simple questions..that just need a simple answer.

If I have to give a simple answer that others are going to have the same thing I always leave a little something so I can find it if it goes to "In voting" because they don't show ID then and I want to
vote on my own answer as Best if none is picked.

I don't read the answers until after I have submitted my own answers. If someone has already put that same answer, I just say to myself.....Wow, great minds think alike. And, if I read somebodys answer that is really good I think, Now why didnt I think of that?
I don't think anybody is zoning into your mind and stealing your answers....lol. But, if any can do that......call me.....I wouldnt mind looking thru a few minds myself!

If I don't read other answers, it happens alot. I bet there are a few people who has said that already. If I do read the answers first, and there are many answers like mine, I won't bother answering.

Yes, sometimes the right answer is obvious to a lot of people and they all end up saying the same thing.

Not often, but this one time I wrote like 4 sentences for an answer and this other guy copied my answer exactly.

All the time. I usually look first, cuz if there's already more than two that say what I was going to say, I don't answer.
