Yeah, there is nothing worse than losing an entire season.
I suggest just sucking it up and playing in the last game. With football teams, you never know; it may be a good team in a few years. Stick with it and you can say you at least played every game If you want to play varsity you should play as much as you can.

That's pretty cruel to think about skipping your last game. What would be the point? You've stuck through the whole season. What would you prove by skipping? And it's not your coaches fault that he has a disease. He is the coach and you should follow what he says. He may actually be right. He is the coach and you are the player, so why do you think you know more than him? A team's record doesn't show everything and it shouldn't be the only thing that matters. "Suck" is a relative word.

you are part of a team and you should play as a team - without teamwork -from coach to all players it will be difficult for you to succeed - so dont skip game -you never heard of any great football players skipping game you just have to play your best and play your part on the team -you will meet all sort of coaches in your life some will be good, some will be bad and remember you either win the game, lose the game
Just go and Have FUN doing what you love - Play Football

Everything you do in life is a test so never quit,it doesnt matter what the outcome of the game is as long as you give it your best effort.a day will come when you look back and say that you are a better person for having stuck it out even though you didnt want to.as far as the coach goes your school should probably look into that situation and make that decision on if he should continue to coach or not (GOOD LUCK)

Because, football in the United States is a totally different game! We did have an indoor SOCCER league for a while. I liked that. The playing field was the size of a HOCKEY (my fave) rink, so the action was faster than standard soccer(football). Sorry, I find your Football kind of dull and boring, but hey, I am a fat, lazy, loud. uncultured, American. Still! I have good teeth and no visible ear wax! LOL

No don't skip the last game go and play enjoy it no matter what the score, have fun.
But it sounds like you may need to be looking for a new team next season.
Your coach may be disabled but he should be giving you positive criticism not insulting you.
Good Luck for next season' maybe print these off and send them to him he may change the way he coaches
