Yeah, I got it and it looks great! Only problem so far is that I cant see "file" etc at the top where it used to be. Some new functions including "tabs" (much like how every page is listed at the bottom)
I dont know if once you have downloaded and installed the new version, whether you can get the old one back, but I suppose you could just uninstall it if you dont like it.
Hope this helps :) Sam

Do a search for questions, green bar, white box up above and type in IE 7. You will see all sorts of people's comments who have tried it. Many negative, but then new software always buggy. As to getting IE 6 back, tricky. Have to uninstall IE7 and then find the site for old versions (sorry don't have URL at finger tips) to get 6 back. They do say IE 7 is much more secure.

The new version is called Internet Explorer 7 (IE7). i like it but a lot of people don't. try it for yourself, but be sure to close down all other programs before you do, and make a data backup as well.
if after a while of trying it you don't like it you can uninstall it and re-install IE6 by downloading it from Microsft.com. good luck.

I have Phishing disabled
I uninstalled Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Toolbar before installing Y Optimized IE7
You may have issues with Messenger and Toolbar if you dont.
Works Great!
Windows Live Desktop is a great upgrade to try in addition, much better than Outlook Express.

its a bit rubbish at the moment. it has a function where u can open several tabs on the same pge rather than bringing up loads of IE windows the problem is when u open a new tab the whole thing disappears. i did a system restore to get back to before i installed it and it was fine but then i installed it again, onlythis time i found a properties page where u can disable the open tab thingy and just use it the same way as IE 6 so thats what iv been doing and its been ok.
would the 3 people who gave me a thumbs down here please make themselves known!!

you can use tabs on it like firefox and it helps your experience with yahoo BETA and if you did wanna go back just go to the start menu-all programs- accessories- system tools- system restore then the window pops out and just set it to the day you last had the other internet explorer.

Someone posted a question on the same subject about half an hour ago...... check it out. She seemed to say it was utter rubbish and made everything blurry and now she can't uninstall it.
