Assume the output from the robots could be modified based on demand, and they were owned in common. Could I quit working and not worry about money?

Just to clarify - I'm not saying I'm in favor of this or asking if you think this will happen. I'm also not saying the robots take over and kick us to the curb. This is a "thought experiment" if we ALLOWED robots do all of the work we do now, how will the economy run? Can we spend our time in leisure? Will we be rationing of goods? Would we need money?

Androids are humanoid robots built to resemble a male human, and Gynoids are humanoid robots built to resemble a human female.
Regular jobs like being a receptionist or a worker of an automotive manufacturing line are also suitable for humanoids. In essence, since they can use tools and operate equipment and vehicles designed for the human form, humanoids could theoretically perform any task a human being can, so long as they have the proper software. However, the complexity of doing so is deceptively great.

personally i think that the marketing in the economy would go up but what would we do for food? we would have no jobs b/c lets face it robots are smarter and can work much faster so marketing may go up but i think the economy as a whole would die all together

you will never like cheap illegal immigrant labor to replace you at work in your own country. same thing with replacing all human workers with robots. what will you do then to earn your keep? surely, people workers will be needed to change oil on the robots, recharge their batteries and other robot maintainance work. but how lowly that can be.

no way, humans will never allow robots to takeover their jobs. work is what put meaning to life. without our works - paid or not paid - we are nothing.

it's theoretically impossible. There will always be work for people to do. Robots have to be made from something, and powered by something, and on and on............
