And now, as they say, for a dose of reality.

How quickly America has forgotten Oklahoma City. Why you ask? Because it was perpetrated by good 'ol Christian white boys. We have a strong sense of denial in main stream culture in this country. It's the same reason we focus on the atrocities of the Germans in WWII and forget the atrocities committed in this country during the Civil War or turn our backs on torture committed by the CIA.

If Americans can attach a face of color to the action they remember and persecute. Look at how Japanese Americans were placed in concentration camps during WWII while German Americans were still out free.

Right wing Christians are quick to try to disassociate themselves from these perpetrators by claiming that the perps are not "real Christians." However, when Muslims make the same type of statement about the World Trade Center attacks, right wing Christians aren't satisfied with that explanation. Seems the tradition of double standard is firmly in place.

And of course how can we neglect one of the worlds most enduring terrorist organizations in the name of white American Christianity the Ku Klux Klan. A sixth grader once asked me why we were chasing terrorists around the world and had yet to get rid of the Klan. From the mouths of babes...

Denial pure and simple. Seems like main stream culture, particularly Christians need to remember Matthew 7:1-5.

1Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

or Matthew 7:12, the golden rule:

12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Hypocrisy is still alive and well in the United States, and my family has been here since before we became the United States.

Because the numbers are too low for anyone to give a crap. You need stuff in the thousands not hundreds to get media attention. Besides the threats dont count because they didnt act on them (no sports) then the attempts dont either no action there

Threats, stalkings etc rarely make news. This is not likely a conspiracy. Murders, kidnappings almost certainly do.

That is 3,686 criminal acts in 30 years. Now let's compare that to the number of babies these abortion providers have killed in the past 30 years. Oh wait, we can't, cause the main stream media doesn't report on that either.

I am shocked! I never dreamed anything escaped the news people. They don't care who is in the limelite as long as it is a story and usually Christians sell papers.
