Yahoo Messenger. I have not seen that message but I read it as Send Instant Message, which you do by clicking on a friends name who you have sent invitation to join your friends group, and received affirmative reply. Click on the name then Send IM - type your message in the box at bottom of the pop up box and hit enter to send, or click send box to send.
