This is something that everyone has to deal with and that is just what will you do for your lover and when do you say no can do.

You are not alone and don't need to be ashamed of anything.

If this is something that you really don't like and your partner is trying to force you to do or even if he just keeps asking relentlessly.

Then he is not even thinking of you or your feelings.
To me that is reason enough to NOT do what ever I didn't want to.

Now if it is you that wants to give it because you know he will like it, then it is up to you. BUT... Here again, if he cared enough about you he would say that's ok if you don't.

So you can learn to do things that you don't want to but the best way is to let time take it's course and then when you are ready for that new thing then go for it.

Sometimes not. Getting over the fear of heights for instance - some people try to get over it by jumping out of an aeroplane with a parachute. Doesn't always get rid of the fear, can actually make it worse. Who said you have to concur everything.

Depends on what it is you fear. Is it the fear itself you don't like or the thing you have to do.

Depression can be caused by not achieving things you want to achieve, suppression of wantings which you don't go for because there is fear in the way and you give up.

If you are scared of making a fool of yourself in the course of achieving things, then join the millions of others in the same boat. Take a deep breath, take little steps and give life a go.

If it is skydiving or death defying feats you're scared of - then just don't do them. You don't have to and you can join the many millions who won't do it either.

Why not do the things you like doing?

It depends on what you are talking about and what it is. If it is something that you want to be able to do like get on an airplane, yes there are things that can help you to do so. If it is something that someone else wants you to do that you do not feel right about doing then that is a whole different thing. So it depends on what we are really talking about here.

well in my opinion you can make yourself whatever you want to be, but why would you want to change you! you being diffrent is what makes you special...i mean if you were going to change yourself why would you want to change it into something you didnt like or feared? it just doesnt make much sense to me to change yourself into something you dont want to become...

It is unlikely you will grow to like something you once feared or hated but it is possible to get past it or to get over it.
