Matter is anything with mass. Density is how closely the particles are packed together.

Matter can be turned into energy using the famous equation e=mc^2.

Nothing, what is matter with you???

HA HA HA HA HA

Sorry, I couldn't resist :-/

EDIT: Density is mass/volume. It's the amount of an object (like pounds or kilograms) divided by the amount of space it occupies (like cubic feet).

So if I weigh 200 pounds, and I take up 10 cubic feet, then my density would be 20 pounds/cubic foot.

At least, I think that's what density is. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Matter is any substance that holds volume of space. Density is how compact you could say the object is
ex- milk is more dense then water
ex- a solid brick of metal is more dense then a sponge of similar size
