It is exactly that. Double standards. Society was the "good old boy society" for so long, that almost all colloquialism's that have been made had to do with men, i.e., "he" gets alot, he's a stud (she's a tramp). "he" plays women, he's a player (she's a user). on and on. This is because women haven't been given permission to think up words to "compliment" each other on being with lots of men yet and it not be slutty. Men, however have, Stud. When the words mean the same for both sexes, then they will "sound" equal. Until then, women will always come out sounding the worse. ://

Honestly, i don't know if its easier for a girl to have a bad reputation.....i think it all depends on how things are done. I mean a guy can be labled a player just ask easy as a female is labled as a s*ut.

It's the double standard that has always been. Boys are supposed to conquer and girls are supposed to hold out.
Well it's now 2006 and women enjoy things too so there should not be any difference. But there is. It is also important to know that not doing anything is also the best way to prevent AIDS.

first of all before i answer this question i just want you to know that this is my opinion...the reason is b/c guys get excused from their mistakes b/c they can always say that it wasnt their fault they were just thinking with the wrong head! you get what i am saying? i mean that is no excuse for them but its true..and plus girls are more gossipie than boys are...boys just simply dont care where as girls do and while girls are caring they are also spreading...but that is just my opinion...i sure hope it helps and if not i am very sorry for wasting your time:)

Because a girl dresses improper alot,brags alot and has no fear to tell someone off in a heart beat.The second 2 things are harmless.
