You could probably get into a program that is sponsored by a nursing home or hospital, but think about it this way. If you get your GED you could go to school to be an LPN or an RN and you would not only make more money, but you would get more respect. CNA's aren't treated very well, and they really only work in certain places. With an LPN or RN, you could choose where you want to work. Good luck, and atleast think about getting your GED. Have faith, believe in yourself, and you can do anything.

Lets say you are in need of a CNA. And your health depends on this CNA and the services CNA's provide. Would you be more comfortable with a "high school" or "GED" graduate or someone who has just the vocational skill?
I personally think one who extends the learning curve to a fine industry like nursing is one who will extend themselves for the patient and all other endeavors.
Ultimately you would increase your self esteem and be better at whatever you choose to do. Best of Luck to you.

I'm sure you would need a GED first.. but I think any place will openly accept butt wipers (CNAs).

The best thing for you to do is get your GED. I do believe that you have to have that to get into any certificate program.

Generally before you would be accepted into any higher education you would need to complete your GED.
