I took two years off - for a few different reasons.
I worked in retail and didn't have much chance of advancing past that, so I knew it was time to go back. And I felt like a loser.
I got my Bachelor's degree two years late, but at least I got it.
I'm taking another year off and I'll be going for my MBA next fall.
A little break is okay, but it's hard to get back into the swing of things. Just think "I want more for myself!"
Good luck!

Yes I took time off when I enlisted during the Korean War. Came back to college easily w/o any problems because I was getting the GI Bill and it helped financially. Then after 3 years and getting married and one child I had to stop for a year with hopes of going back. Never made it back and now it's 50 years ago. Doubt I will go back now (ha) Best to not take a leave from College as you many not go back either. Get your College degree whatever you do. Don't even think of putting it off.

i'm sorry to pay attention that. i've got had distinctive stories the place very own subjects such using fact the dying of an intensive relative and financial lack of self assurance affected my ability to income and artwork properly. It handed off early on in severe college, and to be elementary, it took an prolonged, long term for me to make up for the misgivings. while you're unlikely to artwork or sense which you could be a strategies from functioning at your ultimate, then take some injury day. yet ensure you plan your "injury day" properly. the disadvantage of taking a leave of absence, is which you ought to finally end up leaving for lots longer than imagined. there is something approximately human nature the place action seems to give way interior the face of content textile. For me, I took a leave of absence a too previous due and once I took it, I left for too long. merely save your pals and family contributors close. it extremely is the main mandatory component. and you probably did no longer lose all of your self-discipline/artwork ethic, you have merely been greeted with a component stated as life. additionally, seem into getting out greater usually and assembly new human beings because it extremely is going to help deplete undesirable suggestions. good luck to you and need you sense greater useful.

I went to Montgomery County Community College in PA & got my associates degree, and complained that if I kept going to night school I would be 22 by the time I got my associates degree.
My Accounting Professor a Dr. of Accounting, asked me "How old will you be if you don't get your associates degree?" LOL
That convinced me that we get older regardless if we get our education....now which did I want to be. hmmmmmmm

Yes, but much, much later. I was hard to go back to school after I started working. I liked the money....It took awhile for the burning desire to go back kto college hit. I could kick myself for that.
