Worse or No change at all. The English colonized the U.S. for Imperialistic reasons...they needed money and trade goods.
You'd still have the problem of Native American values (the land belongs to the spirits or all of the people) and "Western" (land gives a man worth).
Also, diseases such as small pox still would have wiped out most of the Native peoples. England had a terrible reputation as an imperialist nation...look at England (Ghandi) and other places (south africa).
I'm sorry to say it, but it wouldn't have helped the native americans at all. Worse or no change...certainly not better.

I'm not sure what victory you're speaking of but the treatment of the Native Americans got progressively worse over time for sure. It seems like the US has been picking on non-whites for a long time doesn't it?

We do have comments from "people who lived back then". It's called history. In general the Native Americans were better off under the French, as they were mostly interested in the fur trade and not grabbing land and making settlements that encroached on Native American territory.

I assume you are speaking of the French and Indian War, as I can't recall many other English victories in America, but as time went on with the westward expansion of unwanted immigrants into our tribal lands it got much much worse

Native Americans have gone down since Columbus set foot on this chunk of land.
Still to this day they are put down and left out. Did you know the government won't honor their own treaties and contracts with the indians and give them the land that was promised to them.
Last year one tribe did win a small battle...got 100,000 acres of the 1.7 million acres that is suppose to belong to them.
