simply plug in -13 for x:
7(-13)-12
-103
there's your answer.

Hope that helps!

Substitute -13 for x. You get f(-13) = 7(-13) - 12 = -91 - 12 = -103.

Plug in -13 for x.

So it would be

f(-13)=7(-13)-12
-91 -12
-103 is your answer.

Ahh
but this is not trig?

f(x) = 7x -12

F(-13) means x=-13

so it is 7 x 13 - 12 or -103

f(-13) = -103
