When a wife and mother goes to work for eight hours a day, when she comes home there are still household matters that have to be dealt with. The same holds true in my book for the husband. He may not have the same home chores as his wife, but he should definitely help support the home front with more than just his income.

50/50 man every Saturday we attack the entire house, dishes are done daily by whoever gets to them first, I do most of the cooking cuz the wife got a stressful job and doesn't wanna be bothered with that type of decision making and after diner every nite without fail I give her a foot rub on the sofa...it's like a habit, when she starts to doze off it's time for her to hit the sack, then I walk the dog. Her sister calls me a house *****....but she lives in a pig sty and her husband doesn't do a damn thing that whole male ego trip.

I'm a woman and sometimes my husband does the dishes, never the laundry (but that is my choice). Basically if I ask him to do something, he will do it with no problem.

Dishes-yes! Laundry--NO! I don't know how to turn the washer on, and have no desire to learn! If i did try it--the house would quickly fill up with soap suds, from cellar to attic! NO-Not fer me!!

My husband does all the grocery shopping and some of the cooking. He'll wash clothes if he needs a certain item, and I got him to vacuum once. He's definitely a keeper. (He also gives great foot rubs)
