I used to hate winter as much as you do. I hated it with a passion!! I hated being cold! I would get so f-ckin' moody!! And not to mention how depressing it is when it rains, and I'm stuck at home with nothing to do... I would always look foward to the warmth of summer. I love summer and spring...
But this year, for some reason, I'm looking foward to the winter season? I don't know, I guess it's because I spent the last 4 years in Virginia (where it snows on occasion), and now that I'm back home in CA, winter is not so bad.

Try living in South Texas. You'd change your mind about winter after about two years. Down here we have 3 seasons: Hot, Hotter and Oh My God, How Can You Live in This? I've been down here 20 years and the coldest its ever gotten is about 28. If I didn't have such a great job, I'd move back up North tomorrow! Miss the tree leaves changing colors in the Fall, fresh apple cider, snow (not driving in it - just seeing it) and robins. Wish I could trade places with you.

i'm not overly fond of it either, and i've lived through many mid-west winters. the worst is january and february....where warm climates call me and i usually heed. nothin' better than landing in 80 degree weather when it's below freezing with snow back home...

I'm with ya....Not looking forward to winter at all!!! It's cold enough right now! And when it gets dark sooner, that sucks, too!! Getting out of bed when it is still dark out in the morning doesn't give me very much motivation to make it through the work day!!

lol!! =D I know what you mean! I was born in Russia but ever since I was 3 I have almost always lived in hot places like India, Mexico, Cuba..exc!! xD
But I still love my Russia just not her weather!

I dont mind! I love beside at home when its cold and wet outside and its Christmas and my birthday during winter! :D
