They say they want to require voter ID's to keep illegals from voting, when the truth is there is little or no evidence voter fraud is taking place.
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission -- a federal body established by Congress to aid the administration of
elections -- commissioned a report in May that concluded: "There is widespread but not unanimous agreement that there is little polling-place fraud, or at least much less than is claimed, including voter impersonation, 'dead' voters, non-citizen voting and felon voters."

So you are in favor of restricting voting rights. That's a pretty grave statement considering what our forefathers went through to get the right to self determination.

The forefathers welcomed everyone. They would view the idea of anyone being "illegal" as a strange idea.

So, by requiring the voter ID, it will keep the very few voting fraud from happening, and restricting what rights? The right to vote illegally?
EDIT: Our forefathers knew they could not predict everything and that is why there are amendments allowed to the constitution. Would the forefathers be happy illegal immigrants are voting in our elections? Would our forefathers be happy that we have illegal immigrants?

Why are Democrats so opposed to upholding election laws? The laws state you can only vote once and must be a US citizen. If requiring a photo id will solve those problems, then lets do it. My mother used to vote all the time before she passed away. She was never a US citizen. I'm sure there are many like her.
Why do Democrats make so many excuses that this will harm so many people?

a twin of somebody else suggested, 18 is the vote casting age. Being 16, i'd want to vote because i appreciate Politics, yet there are diverse young children who're not very smart, i'm not attempting to assert i'm more effective perfect in spite of the indisputable fact that it really is uncommon to stumble on a teen that would want to be sensible adequate to study about politics and would want to vote. Many young children accessible are in basic terms quite immature, i check out it in 2 different techniques, a million. human beings might want to not discriminate on age. 2. regrettably many young children are immature and does not quite comprehend what they are vote casting for thus possibly it really is more effective perfect to have the criminal vote casting age at 18. yet i'm not quite disillusioned, i'd be able to vote in decrease than 2 years.

It is kind of worrisome that any John Doe can just walk in a polling place, sign a name on a piece of paper, and vote. If not an ID, at least some kind of PIN number or something.
