As a wanna-be professor, I find your question quite entertaining. No, no bribes. Although we get paid a pittance, we would never accept them ... you see, we are the ones who PASSED all our classes (and did quite well, too) and always looked at those who did not as slackers. Makes you think, huh?

No and I never would. I did work my butt off and put alot of effort into a few classes that I took where I was taking it with people majoring in that field and I had very little background in that subject (I am smart but hadn't taken all the classes leading up to it like the rest of the class). The teachers rewarded my hard efforts and I did a little better than a passing grade, even better sometimes than those prepared for the class!
Thank you professors for having a little soft spot in your heart for me and seeing the effort I put into your class!

My wife is a college professor and would never accept a bribe. Offering it can be reason for expulsion and accepting could also lead to dismissal. From either end, it's not worth it.

no, and if you do get a passing grade by bribing a professor you're not realling learning. If ur paying for an education, its probably better to get one than to cheat your way through it. Talk to your proffesor and try to work something out.

bribing a professor can get you kicked out of school..... some teachers are cool and if you goto class everyday and make an EFFORT they will pass you.....you dont necessarily have to get good grades you just have to make an EFFORT and show that you are learning something

No. However, I'm a retired professor who (years ago) was propositioned by a young lady hoping to raise her grade. I told her, "I'm sorry, but you'll have to do better in class: the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."

This is not even the gray area anymore, it's the black area. Do you think male professors are more up for grab on this?
