You can't get pregnant until you ovulate, and most women ovulate 14 days BEFORE their next cycle is set to begin. Don't listen to anyone who tells you it's halfway through you're cycle, that's only true for a very small minority of women.

Well, my only pregnancy was right in the middle of my period..it all depends on when your eggs shed vs new arrivals and unless you have a fortune to spend on gyno exams and tests to determine your real and true cycle, the answer IS BOTH.
