Actually Bush is being foolish right now saying anything about a civil war & the US pulling out. He should have long ago gotten the media to say something like this: If the Iraqis want the coalition to leave it would take about a year & a half of peace with the locals investing in their country. The 1st year would be to convince the government & the locals the government was in control. The last 6 months would be for the tropps to return home.

We already know the Arabs can fight. The movie Lawerance of Arabia showed that. Now the locals need to show they've grown past the end of the movie. They need to work together to create wealth.

Maybe Algazera need to broadcast the movie a couple of times.

He doesn't want any solider to die, it is just an example of partisanship over common sense. He is standing so strong behind the party lines that he can't think straight. Every president draws a line in the sand during mid-term elections, this time it is just noticeable. Two years ago was the anti-gay amendment and values in America, 4 years ago was stem cell research.

President Bush isn't interested in kissing you, that would be Bill Clinton. What are you talking about concerning your remark on nuclear weapons? Get a grip.

Of course he is kissing up.. and it must be very bitter for him... He who said Stay the Course , no matter what.. now having to eat crow. But he is doing it because he has been told to do it. He and Cheney and Rumsfled are so busy running around the country trying to look like good Republicans is just plain funny... it is way too little and much too late.

OMG. You people will never be happy. Never. You got what you wanted, now you criticize him for doing what your party wants. Make up your mind.
