i would suggest that you setup you internet service provider password to something that they cant figure out, you can also set it so it will not automatically sign on when its link or explorer is clicked, you can also go into your modem settings and stop auto connection, i hope this will help you, good luck.

You can stop them from entering certain pages using parental block but as for yahoo im not sure. To keep them off the computer completely you can always go to your computer account and add a password that your kids cannot crack. This way you can control everything

If you are not using a router, just set a password on the internet connection. If you are using a router, change the password on the router's security setup menu.

sounds like you're using cable internet.
try one that prompts for password. ie. dsl, dialup.
more troublesome idea, use a router. some routers may have settings to disable internet for specified computers. you can pwd protect its settings, and delete from ignore list when u'r home.
