i didnt have mine drained but dont worry they will put u to sleep so you wont feel a thing,u will b a little sore after i have had a laparostomy and scrape i was sore , the only thing that hurt like hell was the trapped air they fill your tumy with now that is painful, its trapped air it goes up to your shoulder so as long as after you have it done you lay flat for a few days u should b fine, its wen u get up n the air rises and it cant excape. but your tumy wont hurt may ache thats all, hope ive helped xx
