Being accepted for college and getting a job in a park that displays wolves in cages are not the same as the responsibility of owning, caring for and housing a large wild animal. I find it hard to believe that anyone no matter how much they paid is able to keep a wild animal like you claim your mother's fiance is. It isn't even legal to have hybrids in this state. Is there a particular reason you want one other than you think it makes you cool. It doesn't. And since your family has so much experience in the matter, why don't you ask them?

The wolf park may have some options available that you could use to by pass the paperwork and fees, or at least get the fees reduced, but otherwise you would be forced to deal with the Indiana state laws on wolves. Obviously in La. you have to pay that ammount, but Indiana may be different, I would further research state law and talk to the people at the park and see what options you have. Good luck

Unless you find another orphaned pup that hasn't been weaned, keeping wild animals as pets is a very bad idea--that's why there were so many hoops to jump through and why it was so expensive. You'll be working with wolves daily--isn't that enough?

You're a liar! You asked a question after this one stating you're "ALMOST 14" and trying to get a show dog, and need to find a way to raise $ aside from a job bc you can't get one since you're uh, 14! Accepted to a university? Your stories are complete BS.......
