I am not even sure when I am ovulating and can't try to concieve if I don't know when I ovulate

I too am VERY irregular, sometimes only 3 - 4 times a year but my doctor assures me I'm perfectly healthy. I've had 2 beautiful kids and here is what I did...I took birth control pills for 1 month then stopped, and got pregnant almost immediately. I did this with both pregnancies. It's worth a try.

Speak to your doctor , if your periods are that irregular there is usually a reason they haven't settled and worring will only decrease chance of pregnancy -so speak to your doc explain the situation and they will help sort it out, probably even help you setup a ovulation calander .

Go and ask for thyroid test...I was also having same situation but my dr suggested me clomid(50mg)from 3rd day till 7th day of periods...using it my periods are also regular but it took 4months to get pregnant...now i'm pregnant ...so dont be dishearted...and buy a ovulation kit for help..For conception take a multi vitamins or Folic Acid daily....the best vitamins for conception is "Pregnacare",belive me it really work...only i have taken 23 tablets and on 24th day i took a test and it was positive...still i'm using it...eat healthy diet including fresh orange or fresh orange juice daily...dont take any stress...and a joyable sex especially on ur ovulation dates...waiting for ur news...God bless you...

Use ovulation tests you can get them at any drugstore

Wow, when is the last time you saw your OB-GYN? They can usually help with that sort of thing!!!
