I don't know if I should go to an out of state college to get a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or to just go to the local community college and get an associate's degree. I want to know if I will get a higher salary and better benefits if I get a bachelor's degree or if there won't be much of a diffrence. Going out of state is very expensive and I just want to know if it will be worth the cost.

There is an easy solution to this: You can get an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from your local community college, and if you want to get your bachelors after this, you can transfer to the out of state college. Most of your credits - specially the general courses - should transfer. You may want to contact an admissions officer at the out of state university and inquire about their transferring policies. You will need a bachelor's degree if you want to later on progress in your career, get more and better promotions or become more competitive in your field.
