My gf and I have a history together, one I will never forget...Im 17 and she's 16...We have been intement (?) based on the fact we love eachother and felt it was the right time for both...And She recenlty told me she isn't "in" love with me but loved me...My stomach sank and I'm still confused...She still wants to go out and she has said she'd not know what to do if I was gone so she clearly wants me to be there...I just feel stupid and betrayed in a way...I am giving this girl my heart and all and She loves me like one of her friends...Does anyone have any sensible advice?

Josh, this is part of growing up. It won't be the last time you will be hurt and disappointed. You sound like a very sensitive guy and when the time is truly right (about 10 years from now) someone who is perfect for you will totally appreciate it. Meanwhile date and have fun, learn and grow.

inlove is romantic. love you is like she loves her cat, her mom, her best friend. not intimate.
