i drove my car into flood water, the engine is not turning just a click sound. all the ligts are working and electric. I removed the sparks plug and try to start the car nothing happen also i check the distribution cap, it is dry. also jump start the car . still dont want to start. please help

if your sure the engine will still not turn over with the spark plugs out,i would suspect the starter motor is cream crackered.

The click sound could be the startermotor throwing out but not turning the flywheel.You could test the startermotor by removing it placing it in a vice and connecting a car battery to it with jump leads.
If you do this please be carefull.

Then earlier you even initiate foolin around with it get your self the proper instruction manual from any Halfords or different vehicle factors/spares broker. they're quite inexpensive and honestly needed for the commencing up DIY mechanic!

Sound`s like the engine is siezed ! Get a new engine .
