We would like to keep the budget as small as possible. We have done the cookie-thing. We have made individual gifts (expensive). Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can bring in "white elephant" gifts and have a little celebration where you play that dice game and make sure everyone ends up with something. I have enough "treasures" at home that I could bring in for something like that. Even if it's soap, lotion, candles, etc.

It's really the thought that counts and when you have your get together you can have a good time besides. It only has to be half an hour or something.

I give one of my nephew a coupon for a 2 night stay at my house. He looks forward to them (so i am told by his mom) Then when he turns them in (again with parnets approval) we do whatever he likes. Usual a night at my house he plays games or we watch a movie. The oldest of the teens I ask him what kinda of gift with a limit amount of money he would like and have him make a list so that way I have a choice and he doesn't know what he is getting. The others kids get craft items i make, but this year they are getting a shoebox to color and inside craft stuff to create to their hearts content. Hope this helps .

Do they all have families? I think people often forget the family and that some bosses actually enjoy taking home something that they can share with the family. Sooooo, I suggest modest gift baskets with consumables that are perhaps taylored to each situation.

why not do the Twelve Days of Christmas for Twelve Great Bosses? Give one a pear; the next ones get a stuffed animal/beanie baby of a dove, hen, (calling) bird, goose, swan; another a (faux) gold ring/earrings; maids a-milking= deluxe bottle of flavored creamer for their coffee; the pipers/lords/ladies/drummers could be music CDs (or burn their favorite song onto a CDs, even cheaper if you already have the equipment).

Go to Target or Walmart and you could probably get it done very affordably.

I used to be a boss and I liked the simple gifts the best. If they have a sense of humor it really helps.

Ok, I'm going against the grain here. Why buy for them? I understand the idea of giving, but I really think for all your hard work, I hope they give you something. After all, I'm sure you make a lot less than they do.

The ornament is a good idea. The website below makes personalized ornaments withe their names, in the colors of their birthstones. I'm buying some for my family.
