do you have american pit bull terriers as they are called in the UK they are a cross between a bull mastive and a staffardshire terrier i had one 17yrs ago but could not keep it because the law banned them in the UK and was just thinking if they still have them in the USA thank`s

One of the tricky things about answering questions about laws in the "States" is that they can vary from state to state and even city to city. That being said most places in America still allow Pit Bull but there is a growing trend of outlawing so called dangerous dogs (Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and Doberman Pincers etc). I think outlawing the dangerous and irresponsible owners is a better solution.

Yes although they are banned in some areas here. Too bad, they are great dogs for the right owner.
