America is based on capitalism.
Definition of capitalism: An economic system in which the means of production and distribution are privately or corporately owned and development is proportionate to the accumulation and reinvestment of profits gained in a free market.
For example, Ford will make a car. Then in about 3-5 years it will break down, so the owner will buy another car. Then the company will make double the money.

Cheaper to make, easier to repair, higher resale value. Chev and Ford are nearing collapse because they can't get this formula together. Just wait when the Chinese start selling great cars. The Americans won't have a prayer. Find a Japanese person and do what they do! How hard is that for US industry??!!

It is all to do with the race. They are not just out to make hugh profits. Americans however are more interested in the bottom line and their bank accounts. Who cares if their products are junk as long as the public doesn't know any better. All GM vehicles leak coolant. Haven't you noticed?
