Well, it's not shaped like the Bartlett Pear that most Americans think of when they hear the word "pear". But it is a flattened spheroid, so it is shaped somewhat like an Asian Pear.

Yes, but only VERY slightly, by a few feet only. The Earth differs from a perfect sphere by a smaller percentage than a billiard ball does.

Yes. Sorta. It's spherical, mostly...but it's not really any particular shape (i.e. sphere, ovoid, square, etc), but is instead Mostly spherical, but irregularly so. Pear-shaped is as close as any other way of saying "kinda like a sphere, but not really".

Yes, yes I agree. At first I thought the earth were more of an oblate spherical structure, but after banging my head onto my keyboard in utter frustration, I realized the answer to your question was a resounding yes.

No, its shaped like a sphere that is slightly flattened at the poles and bulged and the equator.

No. It's spherical. Not perfectly round, a little bloated in the middle. Kinda like if you squished a beach ball a little bit.

No.

Go to Nasa.gov and look up a photo of the earth in the multimedia section.

It's a sphere.

No more like a slightly flattened sphere

No, it is a sphere that is slightly fatter in the middle due to gravitational force and centripital (spelling?) force.

No. I believe it is slightly squashed, like an orange. Not perfectly round.
