Also why was illegal to have him aid people in suicide? How come pet vets don't get murder trials for putting animals down? Why cant humans be put down? There should be another Kovorkian in the doc business. Agree? Disagree? Why?

He's been in jail for several years now.
It's illegal to help someone commit suicide because states made it so. Mostly that's based on the idea that suicide is a sin.
As for whether I agree with your statement that there should be another Jack Kevorkian: I do. I think that some terminal illnesses are so painful that to let someone die peacefully, rather than wracked by pain, is the humane thing to do.

Dr. Kevorkian was convicted and sent to jail. The law does not hold vets accountable for putting down pets. Unfortunately, politics prevent ending suffering mercifully in humans. Instead, humans are deprived of water in official Hospices to die from thirst and dehydration.

laws, docs want to experiment to see how long it takes us to die w/certain medicines and treatments my s/dad took an extra month because of "medical miracles" the suffrering was terrible for him and my mom.
he was brought back from 4 heart attacks w/a defibulator (sp)
animals do not have the same life value as humans
if you have a living will you won't go out w/wires and hoses in you

The good doctor is in the slammer. I don't agree that humans should be put down, but do agree they should be given the means to end it themselves.
